Alfreton Town welcome second placed AFC Fylde to the Impact Arena as the Coaster's look to register five straight wins, the Reds will look to remain unbeaten tonight in the National League North, kick off is 7.45pm.

The ongoing saga of allowing supporters into stadiums at non league level has stretched on with the Reds considered as 'Elite', all of our league fixtures will be played behind closed doors as instructed by government guidelines and protocols. However we hope to welcome our supporters back to the Impact Arena and back on the road as soon as possible and as soon as government guidelines will allow to do so.

The Reds have won one and drawn two of our opening three league games, we began the season with 1-1 draw at Curzon before facing Spennymoor and producing a fantastic performance to draw 1-1 again. It was Alfreton's best performance against the Moors and we were unlucky to not grab all three points late on.

After a three week period of isolation following a positive test within the squad of Covid-19 back on the 13th October, the Reds returned to business on Saturday at Telford and came away 1-0 winners as we were the first side to win and score at Telford this season. Danny Clarke latched onto an Elliott Reeves cross-come shot to plant the ball home from a few yards.

It was a brilliant display all over the park as the lads battled hard, defended well and created the better openings throughout the game, despite having three weeks away.

The Reds will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start once again this evening as we aim to build on what's been a solid start to the season so far and string this unbeaten run together even further following the three week delay.

AFC Fylde arrive to us in second in the league table with 12 points from four matches and have a 100% record thus far.

Their current league playing record stands at: P4, W4, D0, L0.

The Coasters have been in unbelievable form, having won their last seven games in all competitions, including progressing to the FA Cup first round and a trip to League Two Exeter City on Saturday.

Fylde's Nick Haughton has scored three goals in four league appearances, only three players have found the net more times in the league thus far: Danny Elliott (4), Matt McClure (5), Dominic Knowles (5).

Four straight wins have come in the National League North over Darlington, Gateshead Kettering and Farsley Celtic, with the other three wins being in the FA Cup (Hyde 2QR, Farsley Celtic 3QR, Altrincham 4QR).

Fylde have conceded just twice in the league so far, just like the Reds; only Southport have conceded fewer (1). The visitors will be determined to earn another win tonight and go top of the league table.
