Alfreton Town will be hunting for back to back league wins as fourth meets fifth in the National League North tomorrow afternoon, kick off is 3pm.

The Reds returned to winning ways at Leamington on Saturday with a 1-0 win and a clean sheet in the process. It was a welcome return to points after a two week break which allowed Billy Heath's side to refresh and recharge.

The game at Leamington was a low-key one with chances really at a premium, however Bobby Johnson's one outstanding bit of quality after eight minutes settled the contest as he hit a goal of the season contender. Bobby's volley on the turn flew into the top corner to ultimately settle the points for the Reds.

Defensively we were also outstanding with the back-line really putting in another fabulous shift. Attention now turns back to the Impact Arena tomorrow where we look to go on another winning run and continue our push at the top end of the table.

We head into tomorrow's game looking for back to back league wins after the Leamington success, however we will be looking to bounce back from our last home outing which saw Darlington snatch all three points late on.

The Reds have lost just once at the Impact Arena (Darlington 1-2) this season with seven games played, winning four of these. Points tomorrow will once again be massive as we look to maintain our play-off spot with just three points separating us and Southport in 11th place.

Farsley Celtic currently sit in fifth in the league table with 22 points from 12 games. They are one place below us with the same points gained.

Their current playing record stands at: P12, W7, D1, L4.

After two weeks without a game due to Kidderminster Harriers’ international call-ups. The Celts be looking to bounce back after exiting the FA Cup at home last time out, as Southport ran out 5-0 winners.

Prior to that Adam Lakeland’s side had an excellent September, winning five games from five to move up to fifth in the division, and now have a game in hand on most of the teams around them.

Farsley will be looking for sixth win in seven and a fourth straight win away from home in all competitions. The Celts have only lost twice away from home in the league this season (Chester 2-1, Altrincham 3-1).
