Welcome back, Jake Day

Jake Day returns to the Impact making it 5 signings this summer for Alfreton Town.

Day will be a familiar face to Alfreton fans having previously played for the club during the Covid season which was curtailed.

Day most recently lined up against the reds for Spennymoor but returns to the Impact as our 5th signing of the off season.

On returning to the club Day had this to say, "Really pleased to be back at Alfreton Town. I feel I’ve got unfinished business here after the covid season cut it short last time I was here. Can’t wait to get going."

Manager Billy Heath added this as he made his 5th signing of the summer, "Jake's 6 foot 4 he's strong, powerful and can hold the ball up well. He's great in front of goal and will be a real asset to the football club. He's been here before so we know the kind of character we're getting and he's improved massively since he was last here. He'll fit in well and hopefully have a good season for us."

Jake will join, Jamie Walker, Kennedy Digie, Lewis Salmon and Shaun Brisley with the rest of the Alfreton Town 1st team when they return for pre season training at the end of June.
