17 year old joins on a 1 month loan

With a number of his attacking options currently unavaliable Billy Heath has moved to bolster his squad with the acquistion of exciting young talent Antwoine Hackford on a 1 month loan from Sheffield United.
Hackford 17, is very well thought of at Bramall Lane and came as a Subsitute for his only senior appearance to date for Ben Osborn with 10 minutes to play in the Blades 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace in the Premier League back in January 2021.
This gave the youngster who was 16 at the time the accolade of being the youngest Sheffield United player to play in the Premier League and also the first player born in 2004 to play in the English top flight.

Hackford has been at Sheffield United since the age of 9 and soon caught the eye of Chesterfield legend Jack Lester who is head of the academy there.
Lester described him as a really exciting young prospect thanks to his electric pace.
Hackford has also represented his country on the international stage at both Under 15 and Under 16 age groups and made his debut in the Blades Under 18 side at the tender age of 14!
We are very excited to have Antwoine on board and he goes straight in to the squad for tomorrows trip to Curzon Ashton in the National League North.
