Reds bow out of Youth Cup

Alfreton Town bowed out of the FA Youth Cup at the first hurdle as we went down to a 2-1 defeat to Grantham Town on Tuesday night.

The Reds were trailing 2-0 after conceding a goal in the first half and then falling further behind on 55 minutes. We did pull one back after a penalty save which we converted the rebound.

However the Gingerbreads held on and it was a disappointing exit for the Reds.
