Billy Heath bolsters playing squad

Billy Heath has been busy in the transfer market and has brought in two new recruits.

Firstly the Reds have signed Bermudan international midfielder Milan Butterfield. Butterfield began his career at Walsall but never made a first team appearance for the Saddlers and was sent out on loan to Leamington and Rushall Olympic. His breakthrough came at Kidderminster Harriers where he made over 50 appearances in the National League North. This earnt the 23 year old many plaudits and led to a move to Chesterfield who were under the stewardship of John Pemberton, a manager he had played under at Kidderminster. He made a handful of appearances in the opening stages of the season before Pemberton left the club in November 2020.
Butterfield didn’t make an appearance under new Chesterfield manager James Rowe and was loaned out to Guiseley where he made four appearances before the 2020/21 National League North season was curtailed before being released at the end of the campaign by the Spiretes.

Our second new acquisition is midfielder Mohammad Sebbeh Njie. The Spaniard who is of Gambian descent joins the Reds after most recently being at Northern Premier League Premier side Stafford Rangers. The 23 year old also boasts Stratford Town, Redditch United and fellow National League North side Kettering Town amongst his former clubs.

We would like to wish a warm welcome to both Milan and Mohammad to Alfreton Town!
