Alfreton Town take a break from the stresses and strains of the National League North when they contest a Derbyshire Senior Cup Quarter Final at local rivals  Ilkeston Town tomorrow night.
After four tough outings against teams above themselves in the table Alfreton will be seeing the game as a good opportunity to build confidence ahead of a big league game against bottom of the table Needham Market on Saturday at the Impact Arena.

Despite Ilkeston operating one level below the Reds in the Northern Premier League Premier League Premier Division the Robins have been an enjoying a splendid season sitting fourth in the table with 45 points from 26 games played.

Striker Tom Curson`s will be one to watch on the night with the striker having scored an impressive 21 league goals which has attracted interest in his services from higher clubs.

The two sides late met two years ago in this competition when the Reds claimed a commanding 6-1 at the Impact Arena thanks to a brace from Tom Denton as well as goals from Bailey Hobson, Milan Butterfield and Jay McGrath.
