Reds looking to continue upturn in results against relegation threatened Rusha

With just five games left in this National League North season, Alfreton Town will be looking to finish as strongly as possible after their safety was confirmed in midweek.
Alfreton are back at their humble home, the Impact Arena against struggling Rushall Olympic on Saturday safe in the knowledge that they will be competing in National League North for an 11th consecutive season in 2025/26.
This is following Needham Market`s 3-2 home defeat against Curzon Ashton on Tuesday evening in Suffolk.
Saturday`s opposition Rushall Olympic are competing in their second consecutive season at Step 2 and did very well to survive last season but this time arrive in Derbyshire deep in the relegation mire.
The Pics are 22nd are 9 points adrift of safety with a vastly inferior goal difference and while a defeat against Billy Heath`s Reds wont mathematically seal their fate a loss along with a surprise Radcliffe win against title chasing Scunthorpe will all but seal their fate given their aforementioned poor goal difference.

The two clubs have met five times previously.
Three times in National League North with Ofton ahead 2 wins to one 1 including a hard fought 1-0 win thanks to a second half goal from Jordan Thewlis in the corresponding fixture last season almost a year to the day.
The two other meetings were a FA Cup Preliminary tie in the 1990/91 season which after a 2-2 draw at North Street was won 3-0 by the Walsall based side in a replay in a disappointing result for the Reds.
The Reds head in to the game with just one defeat in the last five and with the knowledge a victory could lift Billy Heath`s men to 15th in the league table.

Admission for each Vanarama National League North fixture at the Impact Arena during the 2024/25 season is:

Adult - £15
Concession (Over 65yrs) - £10
16-21yrs & Students £10
Under 15yrs - £3
Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased here - https://ticketpass.org/event/EFYBLB/alfreton-town-fc-v-rushall-olympic

Parking at the Impact Arena is incredibly limited. We recommend
the pay and display parking on Rogers Lane, DE55 7FF and also at Severn Square, DE55 7BT - both are a five to ten minute walk to and from the Impact Arena.

Please be considerate of residents on the estate next to the arena, particularly Connaught Court, Bentley Close and North Street. We ask supporters to avoid parking in the residential areas around the ground and instead ask that you follow the advice and park in the pay and display car parks.
