For the penultimate time this season Alfreton Town are in league action at the Impact Arena on Saturday when they entertain Peterborough Sports on Matchday 43.
Neither team has much to play for ahead of the game. Peterborough Sports have had a very solid season which has seen they post their record National League North points tally with four games to play. Despite a slow start which had the Turbines hovering near the relegation zone under the management of Michael Gash and Luke Steele a big improvement in results has seen the Cambridgeshire side lie in a comfortable 12th place in midtable in National League North.
The relegation issue could be sealed before the Easter Double header next week. Warrington and Farsley have already been relegated and the two teams who currently occupy the other two relegation places Rushall Olympic and Needham Market lorck horns in Suffollk. However a win for Radcliffe against Leamington would relegate both regardless of the result between the pair.
The Reds head in to the game with just one defeat in their last six in the league as the Players begin to turn their attentions to the close season and playing for a new contract for season 2025/26
While this is Ofton`s sixth overall meeting with Peterborough Sports its actually the first meeting on a Saturday between the sides.
The reverse game back in November saw Alfreton fall victim to a defeat after a very late hat trick from substitute Michael Gyasi see Sports overturn a 1-0 deficit to claim three points despite an opener from Jake Day on the night.
A win for the Reds could see Billy Heath`s men be as high as 14th come five o`clock.

Parking at the Impact Arena is incredibly limited. We recommend the pay and display parking on Rogers Lane, DE55 7FF and also at Severn Square, DE55 7BT - both are a five to ten minute walk to and from the Impact Arena.
Please be considerate of residents on the estate next to the arena, particularly Connaught Court, Bentley Close and North Street. We ask supporters to avoid parking in the residential areas around the ground and instead ask that you follow the advice and park in the pay and display car parks.
