Alfreton Town are back under the Impact Arena lights for a third successive home fixture when Darlington are set to visit Derbyshire on Tuesday night in National League North.
A rare goal from unlikely hero George Cantrill salvaged a point for the Reds last time out but results elsewhere saw Alfreton drop to 18th in the league table.
Needham Market picked up a big three points against Chorley which coupled from the result at the Impact Arena saw visitors Oxford City drop in to the bottom four.
Its all about nine ahead of the visit of Darlington
Alfreton looking to avoid a ninth home game against Darlington without a win (D4 L4), The Reds are looking to avoid nine winless home games in succession since December.
Moreover failure to win will make it nine games in all competitions without a win for Billy Heath`s side.
Darlington arrive in Derbyshire having lost 4 of their last six league games. The latest defeat for Steve Watson`s men 4-1 away at Peterborough Sports all but ended their faint play off hopes on Saturday.
Alfreton will be keen to end this poor run as soon as possible but history tells us a home win over Darlington has to be hard earned.
Billy Heath will be checking on the fitness of David Solademi who was forced in the first half of the home draw with Oxford City on Saturday.
With nine huge games to play in the league Alfreton are nine points clear of the relegation places.
Needham Market have a tricky quartet of fixtures starting at Spennymoor and Kiddermister this week. Ofton will be eager to capitalize on this and seal safety as soon as possible.

Please be considerate of residents on the estate next to the arena, particularly Connaught Court, Bentley Close and North Street. We ask supporters to avoid parking in the residential areas around the ground and instead ask that you follow the advice and park in the pay and display car parks.
