Fewster signs for the reds

Youngster Billy Fewster has signed for Alfreton Town after being released by Nottingham Forest.

Fewster who featured in Forest's defeat to Blackpool in the FA Cup 3rd round last season joins Billy Heath's side to strengthen the midfield.

On signing for the reds the youngster had this to say, "I’m very happy to sign for Alfreton Town. I’m at the stage of my career where I want to play regular men’s football, and I feel this a club which will give me a great opportunity to do so. Everyone at the club have been great with me, and made me feel welcome. I’m looking forward to helping the team out and I hope we can have a successful season."

Billy goes straight into the squad travelling to South Shields in our season opener on Saturday.
