Former Nottingham Forest centre-back Ethan Stewart has agreed to re-join Alfreton Town, after he made the switch from Southern Premier League Central side Nuneaton Borough.

The 21-year-old spent a month with the Reds in March 2020 before the season was curtailed but returned to Forest at the end of his loan spell.

Stewart was released from his contract at the Championship club in October and signed for Nuneaton to gain some valuable game time.

He made just four appearances before the season was curtailed due to the coronavirus pandemic and returns to the Reds ahead of the upcoming National League North campaign.
