Despite ATFC currently being in lockdown, previously playing all of its games behind closed doors and now facing a curtailment of their season the Football Club has continued to support its community.
Previous season’s involvement in the FA Cup has brought about a financial gain from a share of the Community Shield Distribution Fund operated by the Football Association.
The Club is delighted to confirm that three local charities and other support groups have benefitted from a £2500 input administrated by Alfreton Town Football Club from the fund.
The Palmer Moorewood Social Club, The Friends of Alfreton Park School, The Benevolent Fund of the Rotary Club of Alfreton, local junior schools, Kids Out and Care Homes all shared in the receipt of the welcomed finances.
Times may be hard for the Football Club but its focus on the organisations in its community are ever paramount.
