Alfreton Town Football Club have today released their retained list following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, as preparations begin for the upcoming campaign.

The club is pleased to confirm that Adam Anson, George Cantrill, Adam Lund, and Sam Osborne all remain under contract.

In addition, the club has agreed new contracts with Billy Fewster, Nathan Newall, Josh Clackstone, Max Hunt, David Solademi, Harry Perritt, and George Willis, who have all committed themselves to the Reds for the upcoming season.

The club also confirms that Jake Day has had a one-year extension triggered on his deal.

We have offers of reengagement with Lewis Salmon, Jed Abbey, and Ahmed Salam, with updates to follow in due course.

Meanwhile, George Sykes-Kenworthy, Myles Wright, Luke Matheson, and Owen German have returned to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan spells.

Dwayne Wiley, Liam Waldock, Jake Askew and Gerry McDonagh were offered new terms but have chosen to decline and will now move on. The club can also confirm that Cosmos Matwaza has been released.

With a strong core retained, focus now turns to preparations for pre-season and strengthening the squad ahead of what promises to be another exciting campaign.
