Reds secure their first summer transfer

Alfreton Town are delighted to announce the signing of Bradford (Park Avenue) winger Bradley Dockerty.

The 25-year-old becomes Billy Heath’s first signing ahead of the 2022/23 Vanarama National League North campaign.

Dockerty accumulated an impressive 40 goals and 34 assists for Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Hemsworth MW over the course of two seasons to originally catch the eye of Park Avenue, he then officially signed for the club in 2019.

The winger spent a week on trial with Rotherham United during his first season with Bradford after impressing against the Millers in pre-season. The South Yorkshire-based outfit decided against offering him a contract upon completion of his trial, however, despite featuring for the club against Newcastle United U23s.

Dockerty has made over 65 appearances for Bradford during the past three seasons, scoring 16 goals in that time.

Welcome to Alfreton, Bradley!
